Fostering a Puppy
Normally we find ourselves fostering a kitten or two, but we have finally upgraded to a puppy! She looks like a German Shepherd, but could have some Chow in her and she's got to be about 5 months old. While I was volunteering at the cat place, someone dropped off a lost puppy. I took it over to the dog shelter when it opened and someone was dropping off another lost puppy but the shelter requires a $65 fee for dogs that are dropped off, even if it isn't their own dog. So I told the person that I'd take the dog home and take care of it until someone claimed her. It's been over a week, now, and no one has claimed her. And we have totally fallen in love with her! We named her Maggie and have had a fun time training her and playing with her. She tries to play with Tiffany, but doesn't realize that she's twice as strong as her, so Tiffany gets tired of her real quick.
